StudentMedicalMissions.com is an initiative by Jose’s Hands. Jose’s Hands gives scholarships to health students looking to go on a medical mission trip. This website was built because we saw an opportunity to aggregate all of the medical mission trips out there that would be friendly to health students jumping on board and growing from the experience.
A percentage of merchant transactions goes back to Jose’s Hands 501(c)3. This lets us continue growing our organization to provide even more scholarship dollars to health students.
We wanted to figure out another revenue source for our non-profit that didn’t just rely on donations from private individuals and corporations. The intention of this website is to 1) benefit the student because there is a one-stop-shop easy to navigate place to get excited about joining a trip, and 2) to provide medical mission organizations an easy way to collect payments and manage their mission team.
